A Family Legacy in Microcement kopie

At Renova Global, we believe that the finishing touches of a project should speak of mastery, time, and tradition. That is why we work with Ecosc – a family-run company led by José and his son Isaac – to bring our microcement finishes to life.

Their story is one of true craftsmanship. José began working with microcement over 25 years ago, long before it had a name in Europe. He was one of the first to experiment with the material, bringing it over from the United States and creating custom pigments when only grey and white were available. It was never about trends. It was about curiosity and care.

Before microcement, José worked with marble dust-based finishes inspired by Moroccan and Balinese textures – stunning but fragile. His French clients in Ibiza were searching for something timeless, but also practical. So he kept exploring, evolving his technique until it became an art form.

Today, every Ecosc project is applied by hand – slowly, precisely. Microcement is not a material you rush. It takes patience, intuition, and experience. José and Isaac know how to read a room before they touch a trowel – noticing where cracks might form, sensing the moisture levels in the air, checking every substrate. Their attention to the unseen is what makes their work last.

They are relentless about preparation. They know that without the right base, the whole surface can fail. Their tools, methods, and materials – like the world-class varnish they use to seal their work – are chosen for quality, not convenience.

But what sets them apart is not just skill. It is the bond between father and son. In an industry that often moves fast and forgets its roots, they remind us that legacy matters. Isaac, with a university degree from Florida, chose to return and carry forward the craft he grew up around. That decision says everything.

At Renova Global, we are proud to work with Ecosc. Their passion, precision, and family spirit align with everything we stand for. When people ask us how we achieve such beautiful finishes, the answer is simple. We choose to work with the best.

This is their story. And it is part of ours.
